T​​hao Nguyen is acclaimed for his versatility, ease on stage as an actor and the beauty of his voice in a wide variety of musical genres. "Nguyen commands the stage with his velvety baritone and graceful, yet intense, presence. He is convincing and completely present in every moment."

 

Based mostly on the east coast, Thao has performed with many noted companies such as Connecticut Opera, Connecticut Lyric Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, Piedmont Opera, La Jolla Playhouse, Lees McRae Theatre, Mountainside Theatre, Temple Theatre and Playhouse on Park. He has performed under the baton of many acclaimed conductors like Maestro Willie Anthony Waters(CT Opera), Maestro Robert Ashen(Eugene Opera) and Maestro James Albritten.

Along with his performing schedule, Thao is a passionate teacher who's Masterclass Series have been the highlight of many workshops.

Aside from the theatrical stage, Thao can be seen in many national commercials and have appeared on many TV shows on popular streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and Amazon Prime. He is represented by JTA INC.
